JavaScripts
Everything you see on the internet
is done with special computer code called 'scripting language'
and JavaScripts are about the coolest thing going on in
web design.
The code that holds your entire
webpage layout is called HTML, another acronym. HTML code
by itself can't do anything but display your content in
an organized layout of your design. Elements called tables
and cells hold the inserted content in place.
Except for any animated graphics
or other multimedia, there's no interactivity or movement
going to happen on the webpage until you start using JavaScripts.
Flash animations are written in a code called 'Action
Script' which is based on (guess what?) JavaScript !!!
Examples of JavaScripts and Action
Scripts are all over the dirtcheapwebsites.com website.
The little spinning image cube at the top left is a JavaScript.
The waving logo flag is a 'Java Applet'.
Visit the Scrollie
Thingies and Add Ons page or the Menu Pricing page
