Image Swaps
Image swaps are one of the really
cool things you can do with images and layers. Like the
name implies, you're swapping images. There's lots of
uses for image swaps. You see them alot in button rollovers.
Here's some examples how they work.

Sometimes it's called a 'disjointed rollover'.
When designing with layers you can create
endless ideas with image swaps.
An image held in a layer can be
made invisable and by coding in some 'behaviors' a layer's
visability can be turned on or off with a rollover or
a mouse click.
