create a feeling of animation, like a little cartoon flip
book. This dog is 5 images.

graphics like this one.
Animated graphics are created in
graphics programs like Macromedia's Fireworks or Adobe's
Image Ready.
The advantages to using them is
their small file size and that they are viewable by all
computers and browers.
Animated graphics can be made from
any image format. The more animated you get the more images
will be in the animation. Each image has to be different
than the others for the animation to work. To keep the
file size small, animated graphics are usually less than
10 images.
